An exciting opportunity has become available at an Academy Primary School in Northampton. Our client is currently looking to recruit an enthusiastic Year 3 or Year 4 Teacher for a full-time, permanent position to start in September. The candidate should have a creative approach, be flexible, adaptable and be willing to engage in all aspects of the school community. The school would welcome applications from both NQT’s and experienced teachers.

The ideal candidate will:
• Have experience working within KS2
• Have knowledge of the new national curriculum
• Understand the needs of the school community
• Establish positive relationships with the children and their parents
• Develop an understanding of the specific needs of children that you work with
• Be patient, calm and have a positive attitude
• Motivate and encourage children
• Ensure that children are able to learn and create in a safe and stimulating environment
• Help children to work towards achieving their targets
• Encourage independence where possible
• Be willing to undertake any specialist training to support your role
• Be very well organised and hardworking
• Work closely with relevant professionals as required

The Academy is based on the Eastern side of Northampton with excellent links to the A45. The successful candidate will be required to plan and take on all the usual responsibilities associated with a long-term teaching role.

You must have a minimum of 3 months experience working within a UK Primary School Setting.

You will need to satisfactorily complete all safeguarding checks to include DBS, Children’s Barred List, and professional references.
